Name: Black grouper
Date: 01/10/11
Message: Description The black grouper is a large marine fish, growing up to 150 centimetres in length and 100 kilograms in weight. It has an olive or gray body, with black blotches and brassy spots. The preopercle is gently rounded. The black grouper is a solitary fish. The fish spawns between May and August. It is a protogynous hermaphrodite, i.e. the young are predominantly female but transform into males as they grow larger. Adults feed mainly on other fish and squid, though the younger fish feed on crustaceans especially shrimp. http://wiki-fish.22web.net/Black_grouper.html

Message: i was able to sneak out of the office again last week and once again TOMCAT did not dissapoint......We ended up boating several big mutton snappers (tomcats favorite) as well as so many kings we all lost count. On the way in we came across a huge leatherback turtle and Tom had us throw a mixture of live and dead baits at it and we landed 3 cobia, all over 25 lbs.......what a day on the water!!!!!! mmmmmmmmmm those cobes were delicious

Message: I was fortunate enough to book a trip with the TOMCAT when he had a charter cancel on him at the last minute. We had a great day, with non-stop off shore action including several nice dorado and 3 beautiful atlantic sailfish. We then moved in shallower and cleaned up the reef, boating 10 6 lb plus muttons and 2 jumbo black groupers. Tom was a true professional and my family and I will take those great memories with us wherever we go. Great Job TOMCAT!!!!
