March brings longer days on the water, clear sunny skies and the start of the spring deep sea fishing bite off Jupiter and the Palm Beaches. The sailfish bite begins to slow down, but not much. With solid breezes from the north and east, we're still flying kites with live Goggle-eyes for bait and Sailfish hook-ups are still the norm.
Add to the excitement of a Sailfish dancing across the waves, we now are seeing consistent King Mackeral "Kingfish" skying with our baits and ripping line off the reel. Nothing better than a cold beer and smoked fish dip under aTiki.
The best eating fish are the Cobia that are starting to migrate down our coast. We can find them on the wrecks offshore and on the beaches following the giant Manta Rays in the surf. And, if you see a Bull Shark circling our boat, odds are there is a Cobia somewhere under him looking for scraps.
Finally, add an improving bottom bite of Yellowtail and Mutton Snapper and March looks like one of the best month for chartering a deep sea fishing trip in Florida.
There are still plenty of open dates in March, call and book now for the trip of a lifetime.
